The Return of the Prestigious 37th Phuket King’s Cup Regatta to the Andaman Sea

The royal‐sanctioned Phuket King’s Cup Regatta returns once again in 2025 for its 37th edition, bringing renewed excitement to the Andaman Sea. As one of Thailand’s most prestigious and longest‐running maritime sporting events, the regatta attracts elite sailors and international racing teams who gather in Phuket to compete in one of Asia’s most scenic sailing arenas.

This year, it is anticipated that His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana will graciously preside over the ceremony, continuing a cherished tradition following Their Majesties’ attendance in previous years. Their presence is regarded as the highest honor for the organizers, athletes, and the people of Phuket.
